Ellis to E.A.C. Ellis Jan.y 24 1833;" two small ladles, a pair of tongs and a teaspoon, all with Sheaf of Wheat motif, three with engraved "C" monogram, by John B. Jones, Boston, 1782-1854; a soup ladle with engraved "C" monogram, by Jones & Ward, Boston, 1809-22; a pair of tongs with acorn terminals and engraved "NB," by William Moulton IV, Newburyport, Mass., 1772-1861; all with impressed makers marks, (wear, solder repairs to mug handle and acorn tongs), mug ht. 3 3/4 in., flat ware lg. 6-12 in., total approximately 6 troy oz.
