Walnut and Oak Folk Marquetry and Inlaid Chest, American, late 19th century, the hinged top with molded edge has a central area of marquetry surrounded by inlay forming a brick pattern, the top opens to a cavity with two unlidded tills; the facade includes a central panel of faceted carving flanked by spiral carved ends on a molded base also with faceted carving above bracket feet, (imperfections), ht.15, wd. 27, dp. 13 3/4 in.
