Kuniyoshi Yasuo (Japanese/American, 1893-1953) Burlesque Queen, 1936, edition of 100. Signed in the matrix, inscribed "100 prints" in pencil l.l., stamp from American Artists School, New York, on the reverse. Lithograph on paper, image size 11 5/8 x 9 1/2 in. (29.5 x 24.1 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 inch or more, unobtrusive soiling and toning, cellophane tape on the reverse at the upper edge (with resultant staining to face), pinholes to corners.
