19th century. Group of two unmatched mother of pearl and rolled gold handled magnifying glasses later converted from parasol handles. Large magnifying glass with textured mother of pearl or abalone bands flanked by rolled gold accents decorated with scrolled foliates. Smaller magnifying glass with similar aesthetic with longer mother of pearl or abalone band. Length of larger magnifying glass 13.5". Length of smaller magnifying glass 10.75". Provenance: From a Private Collection in Rabun Gap, Georgia.
