Two Delftware Tankards Mounted with Pewter Lids, England or Continental, 18th century, the pewter lids both hinged with egg-shaped finials, mounted on the rims and handles of cylindrical vessels, one lid engraved "GHW 1752," with hallmarks impressed on the underside of the lid, and decorated with a building, trees, and flowers; the other lid engraved "F.G.R. 1815," with polychrome decoration depicting a scene with a peasant woman carrying a basket in the country, an indistinct MI- mark impressed into the base, (chips), ht. 10 1/4, 9 3/8 in.
