Two Covered Trinket Boxes, America, early 19th century, one with a velvet-covered pincushion top with stenciled basket of flowers, embossed striped paper covered sides, containing various sewing implements, shells, and mismatched jewelry; the other box with red velvet cover and embossed paper covering containing a small watercolor on paper mourning scene with an urn, weeping willow tree, and other foliage, the reverse inscribed "Haverhill April 29th 1809 Robert Sargent property of Amesbury," (wear), ht. 2 1/2, 1 3/4 in.
