Pull-Along Automaton Jester, German, with straight-neck bisque head, closed mouth, fixed black eyes, head impressed w , lambskin wig, painted wood limbs (missing a thumb), holding a bat, on polychrome paper-covered wheeled base with papier-mache dog, a crankshaft on the back wheels causing the figure to raise each arm alternately, in faded jester costume with cream felt hat decorated with bells, doll ht. 10, overall 7 x 12 in.
