Olive-amber Glass Quart Flask, probably Granite Glass Company, Stoddard, New Hampshire, early 19th century, both sides of the flask with featuring an American eagle facing left with shield grasping arrows and an olive branch in its talons, with plain banner above and an oval frame below with no inscriptions, (rim chip and associated crack on one side), ht. 9 1/8 in. Note: A similar example of this flask is found in American Glass, by George S. and Helen McKearin, Crown Publishers, New York, on plate 259, examples 3 and 4 , text on p. 510.
