Eight Small Staffordshire Spatterware Decorated Cup Plates, c. 1840, the plates with decorated center reserves including three with peafowl, four with house motifs, and one with a rooster, with red, green, yellow, or blue spatterware borders, (one with minor rim chip), dia. 4 1/4, 3 3/8 in. Provenance: Malcolm S. Burroughs collection. These plates were part of lot 527, sold at Skinner, Inc. October, 29, 2000.
