English Sterling Repousse Tea Urn on Stand, New York, mid 19th century, the pear shaped body chased and embossed all over with dense foliates and acanthus scrolls, with two central roundels flanked by anthemion, the flattened lid with helmet-form finial, with beaded angular handles topped by classical female busts, the straight tap ending in anthemion, and with quadripartite scroll handle, raised on stand with rectangular scroll legs, enclosing chased and embossed burner, monogrammed, full ht. 16 1/2 in., approx. 80 troy oz.
