Parlor Guitar after Louis Panormo, probably American, c. 1880, labeled LOUIS PANORMO, THE ONLY MAKER OF, GUITARS IN THE SPANISH STYLE, etc, the rosewood back and sides, the slotted mahogany peghead stamped J GOWAN, the rosewood fingerboard, the cedar top of fine grain, length of back 18 3/16 in., width of lower bout 11 1/16 in.
