(Kennedy Rocker), American ash and rattan Carolina "Kennedy Rocker," with turned uprights and tall back, plank-form arms, turned legs and stretchers on rocking rails. Together with an ash slatted gout stool. Note: This rocker and the next lot are two of the original "Carolina Porch Rockers" that inspired John F. Kennedy to have a special custom model made to relieve his back problems.
