American, 20th century. A Franklin Mint issued Jim Bowie knife with carved walnut handle, steel pommel, cross guard and blade. Inscribed on one side of blade "J. Bowie". Knife in hinged oak wood display case with glass lid, tan velvet interior, and steel presentation plaque mounted lower right of knife "The Jim Bowie Knife, By The Franklin Mint". Knife approximately 13.5" long.
