Classical Carved Mahogany Breakfast Table, probably Glens Falls, New York area, c. 1835, the shaped drop leaves flank two working drawers above a turned and leaf-carved pedestal continuing to four carved cabriole legs terminating in eagle heads on casters, original faceted glass and brass pulls, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 31 1/2, wd. 20 1/2, dp. 40 1/2 in. Literature: The Magazine Antiques , May, 1993, page 973, shows a virtually identical table bearing the stamp of Amariah T. Prouty, Glens Falls, New York cabinetmaker.
