Five Mochaware Items with Clay Texture Designs, England, 19th century, all five items decorated with surface texture of applied bits of clay, including four pearlware pieces: a jug with brown rim band over a field with yellow lattice and black dot designs, extruded handle with foliate terminals; a spill vase with dark brown bands enclosing a brown fishscale pattern with ochre dots; a covered sugar bowl with blue bands enclosing wide bands of blue, white, and brown bits of clay; a small spill vase with two light blue bands and wide bands of green, white, brown, and blue splotch designs; and a redware bowl with ochre and light blue bands enclosing a wide tan band, (chips, cracks), ht. 5 7/8, 6 5/8, 5, 3 3/4, 3 3/8 in., respectively.
