Cherry Carved Regulator Wall Timepiece, E. Howard & Co., Boston, c. 1880, the serrated and shaped gallery with four ball finials above a stylized leaf carved frieze with reeded borders, the glazed door with carved quarter fans framing a white painted metal dial with seconds hand lettered "E. Howard & Co. Boston," with a brass weight-driven movement inscribed "E. Howard & Co. Boston, No. 12," with silver leafed pendulum rod and nickel plated pendulum, old finish, ht. 63 1/2, wd. 19 3/4, dp. 8 in. Note: A very similar example illustrated in the catalog Fine Regulators.
