Italian, late 19th/early 20th century. Matched set of 4 Italian Rococo style walnut chairs comprised of 2 arm and 2 side chairs, all with pierced quatrefoil and scrolled crestrail over an interlaced pierced splat, the serpentine shaped seat upholstered in blue and white stripped fabric with nailhead trim and removable matching seat cushion, over a serpentine apron centered with carved shell raised on cabriole legs. Armchair height 33.25", width 22"(arm to arm), seat height 17", seat depth 15. Side chair height 35", width 18", seat depth16', seat height 17".
