The Muhlenberg family pair of Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany dining chairs, ca. 1770 , each with cabouchon carved crest, above pierced and voluted splats flanked by fluted stiles, above a trapezoidal slip seat resting in a shell carved frame supported by shell carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet.
