Mandoline and Hidden-Bells Musical Box By Sallaz & Oboussier, probably 1850s, No. 1330, with 15 1/2-inch cylinder playing four airs (Gamme 238) and tune card, in grained case with veneered lid, 23 x 7 1/2 in. The bells, which are mounted below the bedplate, have a distinct carillion sound, unlike most other bell boxes.
