Federal Mahogany Pillar and Scroll Clock, Silas Hoadley, Plymouth, Connecticut, c. 1825, the scrolled crest with inlaid contrasting plinths topped by brass urn finials above the freestanding columns flanking the glazed door with eglomise panel showing a classical building, the wooden polychrome and gilt dial with Arabic numerals centering an eagle and shield with thirty-hour wooden weight-driven movement, all on valanced base, (imperfections), ht. 31 1/2 in.
