Classical Mahogany Figured Veneer Pier Table, Boston, Massachusetts, 1815-25, the rectangular Carrara marble top overhangs a frieze with a central gilded ormolu mount of winged griffins above the frontal columns with entasis and gilded ormolu bands on the flattened discs and the concave shelf backed by a mirror flanked by flattened columns, old surface, (imperfections including veneer loss), ht. 35 1/2, wd. 50, dp. 20 3/4 in.
