Three Quart Pewter Flagon, Boardman & Hart, Hartford Connecticut, c. 1825-30, domed cover with "chairback" thumb piece on tapered cylindrical form with molded fillet and base, double scrolled handle with bud terminal, "BOARDMAN & HART," "N-YORK" and two round eagle touch marks, [Carl Jacobs 39, 47], ht. 13 in. Note: Although items made by Boardman & Hart are marked New York, where they had a sales office, they were actually made in Hartford, Connecticut.
