Parade Helmet, Korea, 18th/early 19th century, metal bowl lined with leather and covered with shagreen, mounts of repoussé, engraved and pierced gilt bronze in the form of dragons, phoenix, and various archaic motifs, neck guards of burgentined plates mounted in heavy cloth and covered with red cloth mounted with gilt studs, crest mounted with red horsehair and set with turquoise, (later additions of enameled silver).
