English and German Educational, group of six sets of cards, 19th century; first, The Round Game of the Merry Cards or Trip to China, Boston, 1844, together with instructions on playing the game, the cards consist of a number of cards with the words describing an article of clothing or other scenes and a group of cards depicting travel locations; second, Biblical Biographical exercises; or Sketches of Scripture Characters, No. 5, the Prophet, London, a set of cards containing biographies if prophets and instructions on how to use and distribute the cards; third, Urania, a Pack of Astronomical Conversation Cards, London, together with the written rules of the game; fourth, The Counties of England, a Geographical Game, 3rd series, London, each card depicting a landmark in the respective county along with the population and something noteworthy about the county; fifth, The Pictorial Game of Alice in Wonderland, London, 48 pictorial cards depicting color illustrated scenes from the original story together with rules on playing the game; sixth, Het Vrijschutterspel, 24 cards depicting characters and pictures of dice along with the rules of the game, all are in their original boxes, (overall very good to excellent).
