Rare Miniature 1-inch Refracting Telescope by Dollond, late 18th century, signed on the tube Dollond, London , with achromatic triplet objective, single-draw and fine focus by milled concentric screw-collar, on tapering brass pillar with reversible thread for folding tripod feet, lg. 7 1/2 in., ht. 8 1/2 in., (replacement dust covers). Note: The unusual design allows the folding feet to be unscrewed, reversed and mounted around the pillar, which then stows inside the main tube.
