Five Staffordshire Pottery Children's Mugs, England, early 19th century, pearlware transfer decorated presentation mugs including three with blue transfer inscriptions: one with a reserve centered with "HENRY" framed by flowers and foliate scrolls, one with "A Pledge of Esteem" showing a boy with a dog and a boy with a hoop, and a mug inscribed "A Present for Samuel," in an octagonal floral reserve; a black transfer decorated mug with "Samuel' in a scrolled foliate and rayed oval reserve; a mulberry transfer decorated mug with the same oval reserve design as the previous mug but centered with the name "Edward," (minor imperfections), ht. 2-2 3/8 in.
