Paul Howard Manship (American, 1885-1966) Lot of Two Figural Groups: Settlers of East and Pioneers of West Both signed and dated "P. MANSHIP...1962" on each base. Plasters, height approximately 10 in. (25.4 cm). Condition: Losses, missing figures, repairs, staining. N.B. In 1965 Manship completed two figural groups, for which the works presented here are maquettes. The originals are housed in the crypt of the Capitol Building, Washington D.C.
