George Nakashima (1905-1990) Walnut bench and a lounge chair New Hope, Pennsylvania, c. 1955-1962 The bench sold with seat and back cushions in caramel-colored fabric, bench ht. 30 1/2, wd. 60, chair ht. 30, wd. 24 in. Provenance: Goldman estate. The Goldman's home was featured in the May 1957 issue of Progressive Architecture. They became intrigued with Mr. Nakashima's work after visiting his studio.
