Four Westerwald Blue Glazed Stoneware Tankards, Germany, 18th century, each with incised decoration and hinged pewter lid, one with vertical panels of scrolled flowers and foliage, inscribed "H" below handle and to lid "H. C.W. 1788", ht. 7 1/2 in.; one of pear shape with floral medallion and scalloped borders, inscribed "HSI" to lid, ht. 9 in.; one with wide band of scrolled foliate design bordered with horizontal turnings, inscribed "M.B." to lid, ht. 7 1/2 in.; and one with vertical bands of flowers and foliage, embossed medallion to lid, ht. 7 1/8 in.
