Carl Bergner Three-Face Bisque Head Doll, Sonneberg, Germany, late 19th century, bisque head with three faces, brown stationary glass eyes on a smiling face with open-closed mouth, squinty brown glass eyes on a crying face with molded tears, third serene sleeping face with painted closed eyes, heads are turned by a ring on top of a papier-mache hood which hides the two faces not exposed, papier-mache shoulderplate, cloth body, composition limbs (limbs repainted), dressed in long baby clothing, lg. 11 1/2 in.
