Large Fancy Parian Shoulder Head Doll with Molded Blouse, Germany, c. 1870, blue painted eyes, single-stroke eyebrows, slightly smiling mouth, molded blonde center part hair falling onto shoulders in back below snood, molded white blouse with glazed detailing (repair to shoulder plate), cloth body with kid arms (new), lace-covered ecru satin dress with green brocaded jacket falling to a train, ht. 22 in. Note: head measures 6 1/2 inches tall, 5 1/4 at the shoulders and 3 1/4 at the base. The restoration to the shoulder plate is front and back, but does not extend into the neck or face.
