June 12th 1866, walnut viewing box with four arched windows (two on either side) and alternating pilasters, the hinged lid with floral relief, maker's label and ripple molding, rotating on cast-iron pillar, on beveled plinth base, ht. 8 1/2 in., (one glass panel chipped) Note: Rotating the box on its pillar causes metal frame-holders on both sides to move a photograph from the left to right window.
