Johnston Ltd., Geographers, Engravers & Printers, Edinburgh and London , made up of twelve printed gores on plaster sphere, with countries and territories shaded, outlined and labeled with cities, mountain ranges, and railway, the oceans with currents, cables, isothermal lines for January and July, Analemma, Equinoctial Line divided by degrees, Ecliptic by days of the month and houses of the Zodiac, the Prime Meridian running through Greenwich, the axis attached to key-wind spring motor that causes globe to rotate past brass "sun" pointer every twenty-four hours, on lacquered-brass base, ht. 17 1/2 in., (some minor dents).
