English, American, early 20th century. A group of two silver and cut glass tabletop items comprising a cut glass and plated silver caviar, bonbon, or butter dish, the dome shaped revolving lid or top decorated with cut octagonal hobnail canes centered with 26 cut rays, rotating to a simple colorless shallow bowl supported on neoclassical base with four legs headed with ram's masks on cloven feet united by garland swags and centered by medallion; the other a cranberry cut glass oval basket decorated all over with octagonal hobnail canes headed with cut fans at the shaped top, the silver handle, likely sterling, marked with lion passant and other illegible marks. Approximate height of revolving dish 5.15", width 9" (handle to handle), depth 5.5". Approximate height of basket 2.3" (not including handle), width 6.5", diameter 5".
