Walter Farndon (American, 1876-1964) Lot of Two Landscapes: East Dorset Vermont and The House on the Cove. Signed "WALTER FARNDON N.A." l.l. and l.r., respectively, former titled on the reverse. Oil on canvasboard and watercolor on paper, sight sizes to 15 x 21 in. (38.0 x 53.3 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle toning or surface grime, several minute losses, minor retouch, and reinforced signature to Dorset. Provenance: Through the family of the artist. Dorset has minor retouch, and might benefit from cleaning. Sight size 11 3/4 x 13 1/2 in. Cove is slightly, but unobtrusively, faded. Paper size 20 x 24 in.
