Johann Mongels Culverhouse (Dutch, 1820-1891) Seaside Still Life Signed and dated "J. M. Culverhouse 1874" l.l. Oil on canvas, 54 x 41 in. (137.2 x 104.1 cm), framed. Condition: Minor scattered retouch, craquelure with alligatoring, flaking, losses. The retouch is very minor. The craquelure is primarily to the areas of red pigments. There are also "shrinkles" near the upper right corner, with several small losses. The work might benefit from a cleaning.
