(Elizabeth I, Queen of England, Her Privy Council) Manuscript document signed, dated September 27, 1599, one page, signed by most members of Queen Elizabeth I's Privy Council with the exception of Essex, authorizing, among other things, for a Bark to be sent from Plymouth to the Coast of Spain for discoveries, signed by Admiral Charles Howard Nottingham, Jo. Cant, George Hunsdon, Thomas Lord Buchurst, John Whitgift, Roger North, Sir John Fortescue, docketed to leaf now removed from original, framed, 12 1/2 by 8 3/8 in. (small tear to center lower left, age typical defects, laid down at each corner)
