Likely French, late 19th or early 20th century. A petite tabouret or foot stool comprising a light blue painted base in the Louis XVI style with molded rail and tapered gadrooned and ring-turned cylindrical legs headed by paterae, upholstered in light cotton fabric printed with an outdoor scene of a young boy in early 19th century attire leaning forward on a tree limb feeding birds, a basket of fruit hanging near the end of the limb. Approximate height 15", width 18.5", depth 13.75".
