English, circa 1810. George III inlaid mahogany eight day longcase clock with split swan neck pediment and gilt metal rosettes over an arched hood with conforming glazed door opening to a 14 inch white painted Arabic numeral break-arch dial with subsidiary seconds and calendar dials and signed 'D Moore, Birmingham' to bottom center with four seasons figural painted spandrels and rolling moonphase to arch, the interior plate stamped with Wilkes & Son, the trunk with gothic arch shaped door flanked to each side by Corinthian columns over a inlaid plinth base with splayed feet. The whole with stringing and barber pole inlay. Approximate height 94.25”, width 22.75”, depth 10”.
