G. L. Ashworth Brothers Ltd. (English, founded 1861). Group of six ironstone plates in "Bible" pattern with pink, red, and blue florals throughout with open book at center on white ground. Collection with two bread and butter plates and four dinner plates. Some plates marked with brown "MASON'S PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA ENGLAND" mark on bottom, others with "ASHWORTH BROS HANLEY" mark on bottom. Diameter of smaller plates approximately 7.125". Dinner plate diameter approximately 10.5".
