Federal Mahogany Inlaid Tilt-top Candlestand, possibly New Hampshire, c. 1800, the rectangular top with canted corners centering an oval satinwood panel bordered by stringing, the top outlined in crossbanding, on a vase and ring-turned post and tripod base of shaped legs with inlaid cuffs and bellflowers, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 29, wd. 20 1/2, dp. 14 1/2 in., sold together with a Federal cherry candlestand of similar form, (repairs).
