Four Armorial Decorated Chinese Export Porcelain Plates, 18th century, polychrome enamel decorated plates with gilt highlights including two small octagonal plates centered with the arms of Holden enclosed in a gilt spearhead cavetto border and flower sprig and butterfly rim border; a plate centered with the arms of Baron Von Hopkin, surrounded by a floral diaper cavetto border and a blossom rim border in polychrome enamel with gilt highlights; an octagonal plate centered with a floral spray, bordered by a chain on the cavetto, bamboo and flower blossoms entwined with an undulating rose-colored ribbon terminating with the arms of Maitland, Earl of Lauderdale, (imperfections), dia. 6 1/2, 8 7/8, 9 in., respectively. -2 arms of Holden- several minor tiny rim chips. -arms of Baron Von Hopkin, rim repairs, light enamel and gilt wear to center shield. -arms of Maitland- 1/3 in. dia. shallow rim chip, 2 in. rim hairline, rim repaired with repaint.
