Framed Watercolor Family Record, executed by William Saville, late 18th/early 19th century, signed "William Saville scripset," l. r.,watercolor and pen and ink on paper depicting the vital statistics of Thomas Sylvester and Polly Lane and their eight children incorporated in a central tree, flanked by red and yellow hipped-roof colonial houses, (repaired creases, fading, toning, light stains), 10 1/8 x 9 1/2 in., numerous foldings of the paper have been reinforced on the verso with restorer's paper, many of the dates are indistinct and faded over time, but the children seem to have been born in the 1780's and 1790's.
