Queen Anne Mahogany Upholstered Easy Chair, signed "N Bowen," Marblehead, Massachusetts, c. 1750-60, the serpentine crest above shaped sides and outward-scrolling arms with concave fronts tapering to the straight seat frame resting on frontal cabriole legs with conforming knee returns, joined to the raking chamfered rear legs by block, vase, and ring-turned stretchers, (very minor imperfections), ht. 50, wd. 33, seat ht. 18 in. Note: This chair is not attributed to Nathan Bowen, Marblehead.
