Rare Steiff Felt Mountaineer Doll, Germany, c. 1913, with black steel eyes, applied ears with button, painted hair, eyebrows and mouth, excelsior-stuffed body jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips, in off-white two piece cotton suit, orange-and-black belt with leather strap and a coil of mountain climber's rope hitched to the side, black leatherette boots, the soles studded with Steiff buttons, ht. 18 in., (moth damage on head and hands, hat missing).
