Two European Mediaeval-style Steel Swords, late 19th century, one with wire wrapped grip, concave spherical pommel, and slightly tapered rectangular quillion, full lg. 40 1/2, the other with faceted grip and openwork downward curving quillions with spherical piercing, lg. 38 3/8 in. Provenance: Deaccessioned from the Higgins Armory Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts.
