Pair of Handpainted French Porcelain Moorish Vase Lampbases, late 19th century, moon flask form, one decorated with a seated man taking tea, the other a lady seated beside a hookah pipe, signed L. Fournier, within faux cloisonne enameled borders, both with Constantinople scenes recto, ht. 9, on flaring painted wood bases, mounted as lamps, full ht. 12 7/8 in. Obviously drilled through base of porcelain; no chips, cracks or restored areas visible; very minor wear to gilding to sides; paint quality very good.
