Two Blue Ground Tin Glazed Steins, Germany, early 19th century, possibly Scherzheim, each with pewter footrim, thumbrest and hinged cover, the covers engraved "G. Hager" and "F.G. Hoffman 1846", ht. to top of cover 8, 8 1/4 in. Hager stein with slight dent to cover rim. Hoffman stein with three glaze flakes to handle and one to top rim; hairline that runs across base and up one side apporoximately 5".
