Chinese Cloisonne Lamp Base, early 20th century, baluster form, neck decorated with florals above flat leaf waist, body with butterflies in flight amidst chrysanthemum on blue ground with quatrefoil detailing, drilled and mounted on gilt metal foot, vase ht. 15 1/2, full ht. 16 3/4 in. Small dent and loss near shoulder; compression and small enamel losses all around where foot meets the mid body; top has an inset brass plate from electrical conversion to lamp; drilled to base.
