Late Regence Gilt-bronze Mounted Kingwood and Parquetry Inlaid Commode, second quarter 18th century, with rouge royale marble top with slight bowfront above a conforming case fitted with three drawers, fluted corners to case, foliate cast mounts, ht. 32, wd. 50, dp. 25 in. Top later; re-finished; 12 inch veneer loss to lower left edge; minor loss to same on right side; upright rails to front with minor losses; good proportion; likely some strengthening inside the drawers and carcass.
